Yessir. Crimson Trace made some laser grips for the 40XX/59XX series pistols back in the late 90s and early 2000s but have since discontinued them. I've come across only a handful of sets on used pistols over the last 7 years of collecting.
There were also lasers that attached near the trigger guard or on the frame made by a couple manufacturers that were pretty gawdy and were huge. Typical 90s technology. Hope this helps
There was also the now discontinued Lasermax guide rod unit.
Cool, jsbethel!
I've got one but I never got the box.
I don't know why it wouldn't work in the 4" TSW 9/40 models.
I guess I'll need to dig it out and try it.
I've got a set of the Crimson Trace Laser Grips(came on a 915 that I purchased, as a matter of fact) but I think the LaserMax unit is a whole lot slicker.
I doubt any new laser has come out for a gun that is over 20 years old.
Any laser that was made when that gun was current will be obsolete now.
Define obsolete. And I disagree. Certainly the large one above seems large and probably heavy but the guide rod version and grip versions are obsolete how?
