Default Magnaport Shield 2.0

I have a SW Shield 2.0 that shoots and handles well. I am wanting my wife to use this pistol and thinking about sending it to Magnaport for them to port. Even though the recoil is very mild I'm thinking this would reduce it even more. Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

A couple of thoughts. you didn't mention if she has shot it yet. If not, I would have her shoot it for a while as is to see if she can handle it. I would think that unless you are going to keep it forever, it would effect the resale in a negative way and you would have way too much invested in it. I would sooner see you invest in an Apex duty/carry kit if you were going to sink additional money in it. Spending the money on practice ammo would be money well spent.

I think you will get more responses if posted in the S&W M&P Pistols forum.

Don't do it. Will make it LOUDER with little to zero recoil reduction. AND it you shoot low and tucked into your body. Ejecta will be blown up toward your face..........The only hole needed in a pistol barrel is the one in the front that the bullet comes out of.
