Default Great parts for 4513TSW find

I’m sure some of you searchers have seen these. This is for those that haven’t.

The last time I took one of my 4513TSW’s apart I noticed that the side plate was a little bent but I don’t think I bent it as I haven’t detailed stripped it. I straighten it but started looking for another. Just in case.

These parts are probably universal in like pistols, but I just received mine and they are in really great condition. Not new but excellent. I think for under $40.00, (free shipping,) it could be an OK investment.

I don’t want to be put in “poster prison” so PM me if you can’t figure out where they’re available. They’re buy now so no issue.

Jim

I have most of those same parts in my shopping cart. I'm 'midway' between finishing up my list and purchasing....

Ahem.

Sorry, followup to my last post which was short and late in the day.

When I first acquired my 4513TSW, I sent it to S&W for a 'check-up.' They replaced both recoil springs, firing pin spring, just about all the others. I noted some of the springs I could easily see looked new, had colors! When they notified me by email about the return shipment, they also, in so many words, 'certified' it as worthy - without any promises of course. They even paid for the return shipping, and included a new replacement box label. I'm not sure why I got such great service; perhaps they saw that it was originally shipped to my brother's department?

Then about 3-4 yrs ago I went through my 4513TSW and added a few of the non-stressed springs and few smaller parts, mostly since I had stopped shooting it and was between jobs. I still have a couple of parts in the bag, and there are still a few parts available to add to the parts bag. In fact just last week I was in the process of choosing which to add to my shopping cart.
