Default Model 22A-1 Product Code

I bought this about 15 years ago , my first S&W . It's been sitting in my safe for some time , so I took it to the range about 6 weeks ago . It wasn't firing at all , no matter the ammo . I ended up sending it back and got it back today , great customer service !

Anyways , back when I bought it I knew nothing about S&W's . I wanted a .22 , saw this and jumped on it . Fast forward to today , I thought I've never looked at the product code . I looked it up and it's not in the book .

I have one other , a 4043TSW that wasn't in the book . Turns out it was special ordered by a Sheriff out west . Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these ? The product code is :
107440 Thanks

I have a 22A-1 that was a Talo Distributors special edition. It has a two-tone finish, a fluted barrel and oversize laminated wood stocks. If that also describes yours, maybe this answers your question.

Oops - just turned the page and found my gun listed as Product Code 151044. Sorry for any confusion.

Mine is all stainless , fluted barrel . I called customer service and they said it's a valid code , but that's they could say . I figured something like a 22A-1 the book would have all the codes . I can understand some of the rarer models and such , but I would think somewhat modern Smiths they would be able to get the product codes from the factory or wherever they get them . Half the fun is in the hunt for something like this .
