Which one do you enjoy shooting more? How much acp vs 9mm ammo do you have, what type of shooting do you do....

How much funds to raise...the Wilson should be worth considerably more.

They’re still making the Wilson’s....so easier to replace?

Exactly my first answer ^^

You can still get a Wilson, absolutely not possible with the 945 and and it would take many acts of God for the 945 to ever be produced again, and to the same level of quality.

The best answer is simple of course. It’s a horrendous idea to sell either off. Find a better way to secure the funds. Ideas are endless. Start with wiping out beer and cigarettes and wipe out restaurant food.

Start with wiping out beer and cigarettes and wipe out restaurant food.

Now there is an idea. I quit beer in 1972 and cigs in 2002. I'll never give up restaurants. If you did what I did think how many $$$$ you would have. Oh wait I need to raise funds when I want a new toy too...so much for clean living. bob HNY

I've only got rid of one 945 and that was to a friend who lusted after it .The rest of them will be buried with me . Can't speak about the Wilson Combat , never had one . Got to agree with Sevens , find another way to find funds, or you will kick yourself in the a** in the future .

I have both of the pistols referenced.

Wilson CQBs are very common and it would be easy to purchase another one in the future, if you wanted to do so. That said, the market for Wilson 1911s is pretty soft (so it might be challenging to get a strong price if you try to sell).

As noted, it would be more challenging to track down a 945 in the future (if you wanted to purchase another one).

If I were in a position to sell, I would definitely look to get rid of my Wilson CBQ before parting with either of my S&W 945s.

Keep the 945. Wilson will make you another 1911, Smith won’t make you another 945.
