Just received my order for 2 used factory S&W mags for the 4006 from CDNN. They were 19.99 each. Came with blue followers and pro-mag brand bases.
Any idea why these things have a Pro-Mag stamped base?
Just seems odd to me. Should have no bearing on function, but begs they question why they are not factory bottoms. Maybe they were police trade-ins and the factory bases were damaged?
The mag bottom plates being promag were the reason I didn't get a few of these. Your guess was mine as well. A while back a bunch of orange/red bottom plate range PD 4006 mags were released on the market. I got some and some of the plates were beat up. Let us know how they hold up OP.
I actually have a couple of spare factory bottoms where I added the aftermarket spacer on full size mag to fit a 6904 and 4013tsw I can use. Just was wondering about why they were there.
