Default Model 1006 Performance Center help

Hey guys, trying to get some info on a model 1006 Performance Center. There's next to nothing on the internet and a sku number does exist in the big book. Other than that I can't find out anything else. I'm hoping for some help and or a point in the right direction.

That’s cause it doesn’t exist. They were parts guns at best.

Unless it has the PC logo on it, it was not built in the Performance Center

Ah yes I've seen the same one, I have also seen thoes in a few variations of models, tho they are not of the traditional hand fir slide to frame persision... maybe just a trigger job or something small...

Thanks for the help. I went back to the listing and your right, no Performance Center logo. I spent more time looking at the pictures. I guess it's basically a 1006 with the Special Series thing. I'm glad I didn't jump on it because it was NIB.

I guess that makes my Novak custom-tuned 1006 fully equivalent to the 'official' S&W P.C. 1006 ... 'cept for the goofy factory engraving on the slide.

Obligatory pic attached. (Hard-chromed and polished slide courtesy of Tripp Research).
