Default S&W Victory 22 Special Rear Sight Tool? *UPDATE POST 7*

I recently got a used Victory 22. Nice gun but not sure what to use to adjust the elevation on the rear sight. Very tiny hole to insert maybe a small torx head in. A small allen fits sloppily and it may cause stripping to happen. The owner's manual shows a slotted screw for this adjustment but mine is different. Is there a special tool to adjust the elevation?

BTW, the windage adjust is a slotted screw.

Good thing that you're not far from Springfield, mine is a slotted screw for elevation.

Does the allen wrench that fits the takedown screw work? Have you given that one a try?

The allen works but very loose and dangerously close to stripping if not careful.

Are you sure you are looking at the elevation adjustment screw? Mine is a simple slot/flathead. The only hex/Allen head near that area it the screw to remove the rear sight.

Very sure. I'm wondering if the original owner lost the screw and replaced it with this flat head screw. Did the first issued models possibly come with this screw? I wonder if I can replace it with the screws that are commonly available on various sites. The ones I see for sale are not flat headed screws.

UPDATE:

Well, the fellow that I bought the Victory from just mailed me the Picatinny rail that can be substituted for the rear sight rail assembly. He also included the rear sight elevation screw tool. The tool is shaped like a standard allen wrench but instead of hex head it has a Torx bit on both ends. It matches a size 10 Torx. The screw that holds the rear sight rail assembly on is also using the same size 10 Torx screw. But, so as to muddy the waters, the windage screw is a slotted one.
