Trijicon Sight Question
According to Trijicon web page, the SA07 model has a Novak style rear sight and fits models 5903, 5904, 5906, 5924, 5926, 5944, and 5946
SA08 model has a Novak style rear sight and fits models 3904, 3906, 3913, 3913LS, 3913NL, 3913TSW, 3914, 3953, 3953TSW, 3954, 6904, 6906,6944, and 6946
I am confused - I would have expected the late 3904/3906 with the Novak sight option would take the same sights as the 5906 not the same as the shorter 3913 / 6906.
Similarly for early guns with fixed sights
SA04 is for guns made before Novak sights (before late 1989). It fits models 5903, 5904, 5906, 915 and 411
SA05 is for guns made before Novak sights (before late 1989). It fits models 3904, 3906, 6904, and 6906
I assumed the differences were front sight height due to different slide length - What am I missing?

I have always considered this to be an error by Trijicon. They had it correct early on - see attachment.

I've questioned another one of Trijicon's sight's application for a similar reason: the two pistols it's supposed to work with have different sized sights from the factory.
