The Final Part Of A Trifecta - 4056TSW
The final somewhat rare 3rd Generation pistol I recently acquired is a 4056TSW.
I got it here off the For Sale part of the Forum. Very good shape with 5 mags total and the original case.
From what I read about 1100 of them were made in 1997.
Assuming that this is the original owner's manual (no reason not to) it's interesting to see of all the models listed, the 4056TSW isn't one of them.
The date of the manual is 11/96, the special order code of the pistol is 7042,
February 11th 1997.
Again, another interesting, not common 3rd Gen pistol

Reason: spelling

Nice grab! I’ve caught the bug recently as well. Need to find the bottom of a credit card for the cure

I sold off 4 guns before I started the 3rd Generation buy fest (I also got a 681 4" that I'll post on the appropriate forum).
Lately I've been doing the one in, one out thing.

Congrats on your find.
They're unique because they only made the pre-rail version & they're all stainless steel making them heavy (37oz.) but extra durable.
In fact they are the only 3rd Gen compact (3-1/2" bbl.) 40 S&W that's all S/S.
PS: You transposed two digits (7042).
.
Be careful, it's hard to stop at three.

Thank you for letting me know that.
I'm dyslexic with numbers sometimes.
I'll fix it.
