Somebody just bought a sweet complete boxed 39-2 on the site
for $790. Appeared to be a mint specimen with all the goodies.

A NIB or LNIB Model 39-2, complete with box and papers, for $790 is getting back to close to what such a thing would have fetched pre-panic pandemic.

About five years ago I ran into a LNIB in the box with everything nickel 39-2 at a show for $400 OTD. I had just spent all my money on some other things so I called a friend and fellow Forum member who lived nearby and promptly came down and relieved the seller of the gun. I have first right of refusal if he predeceases me but that probably won't happen.
