Default 4516-1 Range Report

The 1st time I shot this gun I had multiple FTF/FTE. It was the magazine. The pistol only came with one, and I didn't have any spares.

I got different mags, and it shot great.

25 rounds of American Eagle 230gr FMJ. 25 feet indoors, DA to SA transition. No FTF/FTE.
Trigger is great, the weight of the pistol really dampens recoil.

Very happy with this pistol.

Nice shooting!

I have to be diligent in keeping my mag and recoil springs change in my 4516s. Otherise, they won't perform with their usual 100% reliability. I change mine every 2500 rounds or 3 years, whichever comes first.

The clue that a new mag spring is needed in a 7-round mag is either the last round FTFs (the slide closing on an empty chamber) or is ejected, live, with the empty casing of the next to last round.

Great carry 45! Enjoy yours! And thanks for the range report! Regards 18DAI

Nice round of shooting. Even better that you quickly solved the FTF/FTE problem. Oh, and great looking gun too.

I ordered some mag springs for the 4516-1 and also the 4006TSW and 4043.

The other 3rd Generation mags are newer and have had no issues with those pistols.
