S&W 4056TSW Grips

I recent picked up a Model 4056 TSW. It comes with the Delrin "slightly curved" grip. I have a few of the straight version laying about, Shorty 40 and 4013 IIRC. Neither fits the 4056 widthwise. The 4056 frame is a bit wider than the slide. Is there a factory made Delrin type from another model that fits the 4056?

Not sure what problem you are having but a grip that fits the 4056TSW will also fit the 4013TSW & Shorty 40, & vise-a-versa.

I have all three models also.

All I can suggest is that sometimes new grips are extremely tight to get on the first time & require some cussing to help them along.

Again, all three use the same grips & magazines.

Thanks. I swapped magazines and they had worked, wasn't sure about the grips so I didn't want to do too much wrestling. For some reason popping these things off & on hasn't been my strong point, always feel like something is going to give.

Standard 4013 / 4053 are 8 rd single stack - the TSW variants are 9 rd double stack if I recall correctly, or if single stack may be longer. So I would not expect the standard 4013 grips to work.

I think I was told the 6906 grips are same as 4013TSW, but no doubt someone here can correct me if that is in error. But I think they were all curved.

The TSW mags are double stack 9 round capacity. So logically I would think that the 4013 grips would not fit on the TSW variants with the wider mags.

Per both Midway and Numrich, the Grip P/N for 4013TSW and 4053TSW and 4056TSW is same as 6906. Unfortunately, I believe these are only available in the Curved configuration. Dont know about Shorty 40, but standard 4013 is too narrow.

Shorty 40 is curved also.

I guess I'll have to live with the curve. It's not that great, was more of a want than need.
