Default Curved vs Straight Grips

As far as I know, the only Pistols that have both Curved and Straight Grips available are the 59xx and 4006/4046 which share the same Grip size.

69xx and 401xTSW/405xTSW only have curved grips
391x/395x only have straight grips

3904/3906 only have curved grips

401x/405x (nonTSW) only have straight grips and do not interchange with 401x/405x TSW models.

Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will confirm or correct above - and maybe someone can even provide a list of which Pistols have common Grip geometry.

Thanks, Ed

Not my area, but I think the 10xx (10 mm) pistols had a choice of grip styles?

The full-size .45/10mm pistols share straight and curved grips (the frame de-cock models also have the palm swell grip variant).

The frame-decock 9mm/.40 guns (5926 and what few 4026s exist) only have curved grips much to my chagrin as I'd like a straight grip for my 5926.

For those looking, both grip styles are available on the secondary market. Especially for the 59XX full size series!

Brownells has both from time to time at fair prices.

Not sure if this link will work -

I started it about Uncle Mike's grips for 3rd generation pistols as an alternative - @davenash weighed in and added extraordinary content.

I still have a set of these on my 915 and really like them.
