6906 paddle holster search
Have the Fobus SG-21, don't like it, no allowance for the take down lever/pin. Anything better fitting out there in an OWB Kydex paddle?
Thanks in advance.

I did a quick search and came up empty for Kydex paddle style... but here’s a Kydex OWB (fwiw...) Warden OWB Holster - Milwaukee Custom Kydex

Just about any holster for a 59xx or 39xx should work.
I have a Blackhawk Serpa that I use.
Some may need a little trimming on the length.

The finest I ever used with a 6906 is a Kramer MSP Horsehide paddle. Not a cheap solution however.
Round trigger guard or square?

Look up Front Line holsters. I picked up a leather-plastic hybrid paddle holster for my 3" 65 that works quite well, I imagine the semi-auto versions would work just as well. Low-cut front and a snap strap to hold the paddle if you only want to go over the belt. There used to be a seller on Ebay, not sure if he's still on there. Coincidentally, they're also made in Israel.

Blackhawk Serpa was out of stock. Kramer was out of my price range at $170. Ordered a Frontline for the model 59. Hopefully it fits the 6906 gun better than the Fobus did. Thanks guys.

For a reasonably priced paddle that conceals ok, I have had good luck with the Safariland paddles. I usually get the ALS holsters but they don't seem to be made for a 6906, but the 568 model "custom fit holster" lists it.

I picked up a Fobus SWMP for my 6906 a while back.
Not specifically for that model, but after about a month, still comfortable using it.
Looks like the Fobus SWCH is about the same as the SWMP with a retention release.

Fobus is taking their SG-21 back as it didn't fit like their website said it should.

The Safariland 586 does well with the later, round trigger guard 69xx pistols, but the earlier pistols with the long, hooked guard ride 1/4 inch higher in the holster, which slightly reduces retention and stability.

That looks like it may work. Funny their "holster finder" doesn't list it for the 6906. Sure was easier finding good fitting holsters for revolvers.

Holsters for the 5906 also work, same rule for trigger guards does apply. The Safariland 586 is designed for the Glock 17, but short-round trigger guard 69xx, 59xx, and 40xx pistols fit just fine.

Well never received the Frontline holster that was ordered back in May. Just sent a message off to them. Anyone else not receive an item from them? Are they still in business?

Found a Holster for my 6906 square trigger guard model at a gun show. So check your local Gun shows and Gun shops. You just might get lucky.

I recently got a Garrity Gunleather holster for my BHP.
Accelerator Paddle. $115 on website.
If that's not too spendy, I'd check with him.

I happen to have two Blackhawk Sherpa #10 holsters which includes both the paddle and belt loop sitting around my man cave. I bought them for my 5904 but choose to go with a leather holster. They shipped me two packages of #10s and a double ammo pouch.
I dragged by 6906 out of the gun safe and it fits like a glove in the #10.
Interested? PM me. They've been collecting dust here for a few years.

Frontline is trying to figure out where they dropped the ball. I'll give them the few days they requested to do so. It was stated if they can't find what happened to the one they think was made and shipped, they would be making me a holster and getting it out quickly thereafter. We shall see.
