Default Part diff. 52-2 & 39-2

Dive into the depths of knowledge.
Is the slide stop the same for the 52-2 and the 39-2?
My son has my only 52-2, so I cant make the comparison.

I looked at Numrich Gun Parts and the slide lock have different part numbers between the model 52 and model 39/39-2.

Thanks. I checked my factory parts list and came up the same as you found. I guess I just have to do a physical examination. Thanks

Not the same. The 52 slide stop is cut to fit the barrel lug. The 39 just pops in, no fitting required.

Thanks donk, so a 39 slide stop is just an uncut 52 slide stop?
Are the two holes on the frames the same size? The fwd . pin hole and
the rearward rectangular hole. Mike

Totally different slide stop. the catch for the mag follower is a little longer on the 52. Holes are the same size.
