Default 422

Tomorrow I will be picking up a 422, 6" barrel, fixed sights, black plastic grips. It belonged to a guy who works at the shop. He had a suppressor on it. His wife bought him a new FN 502 and he's using that now and letting the 422 go. He's cleaning it up and looking for all the mags. He had 8 but can only find 7 right now.
Gun, 7 factory 12rd mags, $400 out the door. I figured it was a good deal, those mags can bring $25-30 each.
I had a 422 and a 622 back in the 90's. It's been about that long since I shot one.
I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I just bought 10 new mags for $28.42 each. I see these mags priced at $80 @. I’ve seen them on forum used $60. Go on line there are still a lot of new mags available for around $30@.
OPs deal is a good one. I have a 99% 422 Target 6” but I bought mags for m41s. I haven’t opened a package yet, I don’t know if they are 10 or 12 shot mags. I only bought 10 because it put me into free shipping.

I’m getting packed up for show right now. Looked at new mags and they aren’t marked 10 or 12 round. They are stamped at
5 rd level. 10 or 12 makes no diff to me anywho.

You're going to enjoy your 422 . I have one and a 622VR . They are great shooters and mine eat whatever I feed them .They are accurate , though not up there with my 41 , but then they are a lot cheaper .

Very nice!!

If those mags are 12 round they should have orange followers, if they are black they are 10 rounders.

You're right. I hadn't loaded them yet and forgot about that.

OP, if you are getting the suppressor adapter and have no use for it, I would be interested in purchasing it.

EWK sells those adapters for about $30.00 I think. DIP also sells them for about the same price. There is a twin prong tool that is used to remove the OEM barrel nut and you may want one of those also. Makes the job super easy.
