I say a bit on the high side, I have seen mint ones for $425 but it depends on what comes with it, extra mags, etc. If it's worth it to you then go for it, they are a great little 45 and excellent carry guns.

Howdy,
I have been playing with a non "s" 457 for the last couple of days.
It is a two tone and in 95% condition. It came with the box, papers, two mags and shipped for 437.00
I think for the condition and night sights plus the "S" it might be hard to beat his price by much.
I shopped pretty hard before buying mine and I did run accross NIB for around 500.00 in matte + shipping.
My Mom's house is near a range and I took it out for a bit today. They are nice guns.
I think your buddy is asking what it is worth as I have seen them for more and less in the last couple of weeks. Night sights and nice wood aren't cheap.
Heck, make him an offer, all he can do is tell you no.
Good luck. I think you will like it.
Mike
