1066 Original or Modified?
I have a 1066 that I am selling but when I posted pictures I am told that the hammer is not factory and has been changed? It is not a bobbed hammer - anybody ever run into this before?

AFAIK, the bobbed hammer is original.

Mine has the bobbed hammer.
I bought it second hand so I could not swear to it. But I think that they came that way.

The 1066 came with a .260" bobbed hammer according to the 1991 S&W catalog.

But it's easy to swap out with a 4566 spurred hammer too.
