Default Model 39-59 rare finds............
I have finished going through the estate parts from a S&W design engineer.

Found the following oddities............

M-39 AMU barrel
M-39 7.65mm barrel
M-39 .30 Luger barrel
M-39 .380 Barrel
M-39 .22 barrel built on 9mm barrel

M-52 6 1/2" Olympic barrel

Yes both a barrel marked 7.65 and a second one marked .30 Luger

Also a very early Model 39 slide marked 9mm on right side of slide. No patent #s
