Having just joined a local pistol club and range, I decided to use my 4506-1 to go through the club's NRA initial training. Out of about 15 new menbers mine was the only .45acp in the group and possibly the only S&W.

It performed flawlessly! This was my first Semi-auto and .45acp experience. I am more than satisfied with the guns performance and hope I can improve my performance to it's potental. I hope to post photos of the results this week.

Carried a 4506 no dash for several years as a patrol duty sidearm and just loved it.

I think you will be very pleased with your 4506-1. It is a great sidearm.
