Has anyone tried either the GALCO or C.O.W.S. SOB (Small of the Back) concealment holsters? I have tried a couple of ITP holsters without much satisfaction, being as I am a hefty brute and don't like being stuck when I bend or twist. GALCO's model SOB226B and C.O.W.S' Glock 17/19/22/23 4-Position fits Glock (hiss) 23. Apparently nobody makes one for SW40VE. Thanks for your collective wisdom.

indeed I have tried a Galco SOB holster for my 1911 Sc and it was not comfortable for me, a pain to put on, and had a much to low center of gravity for me. Works for some but not me...it went to eBay I think.
My solution has been a good quality strong side IWB or OWB holster with an occasional use of a good shoulder holster. My holster box seems to have alot of Kramers and Milt Sparks in it with some DeSantis, Don Hume, Galco and Gould & Goodrich in it. Most are Kramers however.
Hope that helps...

Might try a Fobus HK1 in a cheap holster,
Blade Tech paddle for more $$.
Don Hume list several leather holsters for Sigma SW40V (same outside as VE)

I always carry the 40VE in an Uncle Mike's vertical shoulder holster. Everybody rags on Uncle Mike's, but it does the job nicely and tucks nicely along the ribs. Right side has a velcro holster for another magazine. This is the most comfortable carry for my Sigmas and M639.

When I do carry my 40VE it's in a Bare Asset from High Noon Holsters, most of the time I have my 1911Sc in a Tail Gunner from High noon on. When I got my 40VE I got a SOB holster and didn't like it at all wasn't a galco though.

I have a Kholster for my SW40VE and absolutely love it. The mix of leather and Kydex offers great comfort and security. The leather makes it a comfort to wear close to the body and the Kydex is molded specifically to the SW40VE which helps keep the sidearm secure. It goes on just before my shoes each morning and comes off just before my shoes at night.
As a tuckable IWB, the concealment is fantastic and I can wear it with my work-shirts (sometimes polos, sometimes full front button w/ collar) and either jeans or khakis. On off days, it works just a well with a sweatshirt, flannels, or just a T-shirt - tucked or untucked.
I like strong-side at about 4:30ish.
Since getting my Kholster, I haven't carried my .380 or .25 as I can conceal with comfort just as easily my SW40VE. All the comfort and concealment with better bang and more rounds at the ready. A win-win in my book.

Ditto on the Kholster. I got one in February and have basically carried my SW40GVE in it every day since then in total comfort. I also carry it at about 4:30 as that allows me the ability to draw with my weak hand if necessary. I'd highly recommend one to anyone looking for a very comfortable, very reasonably priced IWB holster. www.kholster.com

Galco Summer Comfort series for the M&P 40 will fit your Sigma just fine.

Mine is the crescent. I was unaware he offered the full moon for the Sigma until just now. I guess you learn something new every day!
BTW - If you decide to order one, use this code: 335093, and you will get 10% off.

On the positive side, even at full price, they are a good deal, and there is no additional freight charge. I think you will be very happy with your purchase, and hey, if you aren't, you have 90 days to send it back for a refund.

Fobus Hk-1 for owb in cooler months. Clipdraw universal IWB for the summer- very comfy and basically non-existant. Your trigger pull is heavy enough to be safe on the Sigma series.

Still an unbeatable price without a discount. I got mine when they were running a special with the price reduced so I didn't use the discount code either.

I'm using a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster made for the CS9 and it works for the Sigma.
