I dropped by the Chino Hills Turner's yesterday. Can you spell rust?
Too bad because it didn't look like it had been fired that much. Unfortunately, it also looked like it had not been wiped off that much, either.
The rust is quite bad on the inside of grip running all along the outside of the trigger guard. Someone might want it to clean up and shoot it, but, IMHO, I don't think it would have value to a collector.
When (and if) they finally sell it, they may run into problems processing the sale with the California DOJ because the 4505 is not on the list of handguns approved for sale in California. The 4506 is on the list but not the 4505. Since they bought it outright and took it on their books as a "used" gun (as opposed to taking it on consignment which is exempt from
the list), it may not clear DOJ for sale. It may all depend on how they
enter the sale in the DOJ computer.
