There is a 357 Mag auto, not common but out there. Calling a 357Sig an 357 auto is poor copy.

I think you mean Auto Mag (or 38super
).
But yeah, a 357 auto is a .357 SIG.

Smith must have learned this from Glock - don't promote another manufacturer...
Glock does not put .40S&W on their slides or barrels, simply .40. Also, for .45 ACP they put .45 Auto so as not to give thought to Colt.
.357 Auto keeps Sig-Sauer off of S&W slides, barrels and promotional materials...

Coonan made a M1911 style pistol in 357 Magnum. Models were A and B.
