At lunch today I ran across 3 NIB Smith semi's. I usually am a revolver guy thus I needs lots of info please. All 3 are NIB. The first is a beautiful Md 439 SN A743xxx nickel-unfired original box papers. Next is a Md 469 SN TACxxx mini-gun in nickel finish too. The SCSW shows it is an Ashland special production gun. Lastly is a Md 659 SN A784xxx. I would be buying these mostly as a long term investment and not to carry or shoot. Any thoughts on values or collectability weill be greatly appreciated.

Buy them, shoot them and consider it money well spent.

I think I would buy all 3. I have one of the 469 nickel finish pistols. They are nice, definitely a different look than the 669 stainless. If these are all unfired condition, I think the price is good.

I hope you ran back and bought those nickel S&W's. The 39-2 in blue will set you back $400 in NIB condition here in CA. Nickel will add another $50-$75 in excellent shape.
The 439's and 659's go for about $50-$100 more here in CA, so I'd say snap up those guns before someone else does!

As was said, buy then shoot them, but I don't think they will become "collectible" and make a good "investment". You'll get your money back and then some, but they won't grow $ like nice old revolvers do.
