My wife recently bought a used model 422. We cleaned it, and took it to the range. We have been experiencing a lot of stovepiping when we were shooting it. We took it home cleaned it again, and went back to the range. Same problem. Am I missing something or it this a problem with this weapon? I have (super)cleaned
it and will be trying it again. Any insights on this will be appreciated.

Try a different magazine and see if it does the same.
Also try different brands and veolocity ammunition. quite a few .22 autos will prefer a certain type, velocity of ammunition.

Is this standard velocity ammo? Sometimes high-velocity ammo takes care of stovepipes. My Browning Buckmark is that way.

I've noticed that a lot of 422/622 owners have trouble with the bargain bricks. What ammo are you using?

I know that my 422 hates the Wal-Mart Federal brick. Luckily, they shoot just fine in my wife's Bearcat.
