Were there different runs of the 4567 made? I bought one in early '92 that I eventually sold-regrettably.

I have noticed every now and then others offered for sale that are marked on the right side of the slide "Performance Center Classic Series". They also have had a spurred hammer. Mine had the spurless hammer and no such markings on the slide.

Thank you.

I don't think there were any differant runs of the 4567. The Classic Series were I believe were made up of the leftover 4567s'. There were also compact 3900 series Classics'. Other than the two-tone finish I'm not sure what was special about them.

There was one on GB a few days, haven't looked lately and it had the slide markings and hammer spur.

The one I had was lnib, all tools and docs, black grips (I seem to remember some had blue grips), no hammer spur and nothing besides "Smith and Wesson" on the slide.

Like a fool I sold, I'm not a fan of S&W da/sa autos but I did like that one.
