Hi all,
I'm a new 39-2 owner. Not sure what year it is, but it's in near mint condition.
Serial No. A274xxx
I'm wondering what your favorite ammo for this gun is, and why...
Thanks.

I used Fed EFMJ . They feed and are HP under
the rnd nose. Good luck You will love your
39. Watch lead, it sometimes fills the chamber
and will not chamber.

Practice with Winchester White Box (115 gr FMJ); carry with Winchester Ranger 127gr +P+ (in a 39-2, 3904 or 3913).

As previously mentioned, any quality FMC will function fine. I have shot 115 and 124 JHP's in mine. I will not use +p or +P+ in my 39-2 pistol.
I like it too much. However, ISP issued 115+P+
back in the day. It probably would not do well with the 147 grain because of the length. But, I have not tried it. hope that helps.
John!
