I give up! Just too dumb. How do I remove the grip s from my 669 so I can add something less slipery?

From the left-side lower end of the grip,
tap the pin out with a punch to remove the panels.

Be careful not to let your mainspring eject.
You might lose some of the components.

Thank you ,Sir! Uncle Mikes feel a bit better, I found the original grips a little slipery during my initial familiarazation(?sp.)session.
