Looking for any info on a 4546 .45 acp DAO pistol.It is my undertanding they are limited production.I did a search but found limited info.Also need value if possible.Have a chance to pick up 4546 for a very reasonable price.

The M4546 is a hard to find model, probably on par with the M4556, also made in a very small quantity.
Value is tough since there isn't a big sell base to refer to, but I'd guess somewhere in the $550-900 range, sorry a big range but condition and location do play a big part.

There were about 400 made of each (4546 and 4556). Judging by the serial numbers, the 4546 seems to have been made in 3 seperate runs of about 150 each. The 4556 was made in one batch of sequential numbers.

As stated above, beaters can be found down around $600, with NIB examples up around $1K. Anything less is a bargain, as they are among the finest full production .45's ever made.

I have the same trio...

Just found this thread on the 4546. I just found one, been looking for over a year now. I also have a 4556 and a 4586. I shot the 4546 today works great.
