This afternoon I found a consignment 1076 at my local candy store. It is a new in the box unfired 1076 SN TFE586x for $690 (plus tax and bg check)-he ain't goin no lower.
It has the matching original box with serial numbers with oiled paper, 2nd mag and original cleaning kit.
Is this a great price, a good price or an OK price just if I really like it?

Depends on how many unfired 1076's with the box and accessories you see.

I paid $600 for mine about a 18 months ago. It came w/ the box, etc, but wasn't unfired. I'd say it's a good price.

Unfired and with all the goodies? What the heck are you waiting for? Go get it. If it didn't have a box or something else was missing, I'd say it's just a little high, but not out of the question.

I've been thinking about since I voted earlier today. Move my vote from "OK Price" over to "Good Price."

I would say that is a decent price. It's a great price if you have been looking for a nice one for a while.

I agree it's a very good price, just be sure you reload. Otherwise costs will probably take the sweetness out of it for you. Underwood Ammo has the best deals on SD ammo, should you buy it.

I paid 450 for mine and that was 15 years ago and it even said used gun on the box from S&W.
As years went by I learned the reason why S&W had that sticker on the box. (used FBI gun)
