I'm thinking of letting go my 952-2. What would be the fair market price?

I bought it new 1-1/2 years ago from the S&W Factory store. It's been to the range 5 times, and looks pristine on the outside--I can't find any blemishes on it that would make it look "used", though of course it is now. It comes with the 2 magazines and the "Performance Center" soft case that came with it. It didn't come with a hard case.

I'd prefer a FTF deal or selling to a local dealer, but if I can't get a good price locally, then I'll list it here. I'm new to shooting, and this is my first sale, so I'm a bit apprehensive.

Thanks.

Robb, if you do list it here and are motivated to sell, please send me an alert that you've listed it. As several members here can attest, I've been looking for a good deal on 952 for some time. Ideally, I'd prefer a 952-1 (blued version), but I'm flexible.

As far as fair market price, I'd say, oh, around $500.

Robb,

I would think around 1200 + or - would be a good price.

Bob

Actually,
the barrel length makes a difference.
Bob is correct on a 5", I bought a mint one in that price range, but add $200+ for a 6".
And "at-home-daddy" has been looking for a while
