I found one of the second run of 150 that is new in box for $1100. I've been looking for a 1911 style 45 acp but this is pretty tempting. Any comments from those more familiar with these?
Thanks.

I have one from the first run and I LOVE it -- wonderful trigger, great sights, phenomenal accuracy, total reliability. And that's a good price if it really is new. I was happy to pay $1000 for mine, slightly used, a couple of years ago.

a few years ago, these would pop every now and then.
now, its a very rare animal.
I had a used one and it was accurate and reliable.

1911 could be picked up later on,845's are nice and seldom come on the market. That's a pretty good price.
Good Luck, Kevin

I HAVE OWNED BOTH AN 845 AND A 945. THE 845 SHOT RINGS AROUND THE 945. BETTER TRIGGER, A BETTER GUN ALL AROUND, AND IT USES 4506 MAGS NOT EXPENSIVE PC 945 MAGS. I FEEL IT'S A NO BRAINER. JP

BUY IT
I have a first run, 004 serial, its a tack driver. I've got well over 5k down the pipe, and it still shoots like the day it was new.

Thanks all for the feedback. It sounds like I shouldn't let this PC auto get away. It is NIB, the shop owner said it came from his personal collection and has been stored in his safe until just recently. I was planning on another purchase recently but that may have to wait.
