yeah i bought a real cherry used 5906 but it has a few light scratches on the stainless steel finish. I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of those. Maybe by polishing it with something or any other ideas?

To put back in original finish it should be glass bead blasted. I have done some that looked horrible and they looked new when finished. We buy A lot of police trades and refinish A lot of them.

If the scratches aren't deep, you can use a grey Scotchbrite pad. Go with the "grain" of the metal. Finish off with Flitz, Simichrome, or Mother's Aluminum & Mag Polish. If done properly, the finish will look great.
