Can somebody tell me year of mfg based on serial # TFB9420?
It's a 3914 I'm looking into.
What years were the 3914's produced? I know they discontinued them before 3913's.
Thanks!

Most likely, the SCSW is not exact, if you call S&W 800-331-0852 they can tell you the exact ship date and features for a serial #.

How about 3913 TSW serial # TDR74XX? No rail, but I don't know what year they added the rail and prefer no rail anyway.
My gut tells me the price is way too high for a NIB TSW with 3 mags. Any reason to pay $679?! Ouch!

The TSW pre-rail is my favorite,'97-'99 production. Downside is that they do have their own mag, 7rd same as the CS9 but with a oval basepad that fills the bottom of the grip which is unique to that gun. The grip fits me fine and I prefer the original grips on a CCW. As far as the $679 that sounds about retail in '99. I would give more for one than say a CS9 or 908s, but they can be had in the $500-550 range.

Can I get a mfg date on VJN89XX?
It's a 3913. Serial # is stamped, not laser etched.
Thanks
