Very good read. Massad is my favorite auther, I read all of his stuff that I can.

That appears to be well thought out and well researched info. Mass knows his stuff. It's not real current (2002) but the information presented is presumably still valid, though some of it could be superceded by newer info.

The only caliber I'd disagree with him on is his disdain of the 147 grain 9mm. Too many folks that I've read like the load.

He's updated his comments on the 147-grainers based on the superiority of the design of the heavy hollowpoints of today. It's worth picking up his Gun Digest Book of Combat Handgunnery and Gun Digest Book of Concealed Carry to see Mas' "modern" picks.

I agree, it's a good book and it's very informative. It will teach even the most gun savvy person several methods and ideas. Enlightening at the very least. I recommend it to read to everyone. Although I have not read the concealed carry book, I will put it on my list.
