I was cleaning my 3913 mags and thought I had broken the butt plate catch for one of my curved 3913 mags. The other mags (straight ones) have a little lip on the butt plate catch that the spring attaches to before sliding it into the tube and closing with the butt plate. I assumed my curved mag was broken since it doesn't have one of those. I called S&W and they sent me another one, and it's the same way, plus my other curved mag also has the non-lip on the catch. Instead, it seems you just press the ctach into the spring and it locks in, and then you can reassemble the mag. Anyone else have these catches? Wanna make sure they are both not broken.
