CS45 recoil spring

Can a CS45 recoil spring be installed backwards??

There's no special "front" or "rear" orientation of the CS recoil springs. No larger/smaller end or closed/open end like with some other recoil springs.

Fastbolt, Thank you,it's amazing S&W can use only that one spring for a small pistol and other brands have to use dual springs.

Hi The CS series recoil springs can be installed in either direction without effecting functionality.I will say it time and again I Love my CS9 pistol and would love to complete the trifecta.......God Bless......Mike
