Size wise..Springer EMP Vs. SW 3913
Anyone know how these two stack up as far as size wise for CC? I have never seen nor held either of these. I really like the EMP but my guess is the 3913 is better for cc.

I would like an EMP, but the price keeps me from looking.
I once packed a 3913 and its easily concealable.
CS9 is a reduced version of the 3913 (barrel and grip)
you can buy 3 3913's to one EMP.
If I had money to burn, I am a 1911er and would like an EMP.
the CS9 in my opinion has the best option for a small NINA and price.
I paid 375 for mine as a police trade in and 2 mags. its been reliable and decently accurate for a small gun. cannot justify to sell for an EMP.

Thanks. I'll do a search for a CS9 and see what I can find.

My 3913 is about 1/2 " larger than my friends EMP...therefore a CS9 is essentially the same size as an EMP and significantly less money. I thin that the 3913 or a CS9 are about the ultimate in a CCW. As a 3rd Generation S&W they are reliable, concealable, accurate, affordable, and most of all just a fun to fire! Who could ask for anything more??
My 3913 rides with me almost daily. If that isn't with me my 1911Sc S&W IS..

I am a fan of Springfield firearms, but I can't comment on the size difference. But holding the EMP is nice. IIRC, it is thicker than the 3913. Unfortunately looking at the price sticker of a NIB EMP forces you to look elsewhere. I held out for an used 3913, which took me awhile to find.

My 3913 was slightly longer and a hair taller than a friends EMP.
I got to shoot them side by side awhile back. Overall, the EMP was a nice package.
My friend shot my 3913 and liked it as well. He got a little green looking when I told him how much the 3913 cost.
The accuracy was equal between the two pistols. Like my friend CQB said, you could buy three 3913's for the price of an EMP. I know which one I bought Regards 18DAI.

I'd be looking for either a 3913/3914 or the DAO 3953..
The CS9 is also a fine looking pistol as well..
When I saw my Used 3913NL I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough.. That's one nice sized slim carry piece there..
Good Luck In Your Quest..
