Default Polishing 6906 Barrel

I use Mother's Mag polish on my S&W revolvers. Anyoen ever polish the barrel of a S&W auto? Does it affect reliability?

I use Mothers polish on all my stainless and nickel revolvers. Make both shine. I don't think polishing the barrel will be affected at all.

If the barrel has mainly surface grime/ dullness then I recommend Nevr dull, a safe polishing compound with mineral spirits. Here is a link and info.... Home Page zorro49
