Newest followers for 3rd Gen Mags
What are the newest mag followers for the 6906 and 5906 mags? I see orange and black.

Orange replaced the black in 5900 mags but the 6900 has always used a different black follower.

I have put orange followers in 6906 magazines with not only no problems, but it has Also Increased The Magazine Capacity To 13 Rounds!!!!

It's the plastic "seat" that the bullets sit in inside the magazine. It's on top of the mag spring.

is there any way to tell how old a 6900 mag is since they've always used black followers??? just curious

Well if there's no "Restricted LEO/Military on it" then it was made before 1994; if it is, there, then after.

That is written on the followers? never seen that. It was always written on the mag body.

kbm6893 - no, not on the followers, the mag bodies. I read that TNdood's question was about the mags since they were all black followers. Other than that restriction, I can't see any markings on mine that could be used to date them.
