Those are XS Sight Systems 24/7 Express rear sight and Big Dot front sight. They have Trijicon tritium night sight lamps in them. I just got them to replace a set of Trijicon night sights with the rear notch. I can already tell these sights are going to be much faster for my old eyes.

It makes me very happy to see Big Dog's grips taking off and knowing I played a very small part in getting the CS9 grip off the ground. When I sent my CS9 off to S+W for a DAO conversion and trigger job the tech said he would be glad to take these"Strange Grips" off my hands and put a pair of "the grips that are suposed to be on it" for free.I laughed and said the ****** hogues are the reason why those "Strange Grips" are on it and NO THANK YOU.I think he knew if the CS series had Big Dog's grips to start with it would have been a huge success.Grip set #1 is on my CS9 updated with the Gator treatment and I would strongly suggest you get the gator treatment because you can improve on perfection. It is a case of you get what you pay for..........God Bless........Mike

Thank you fellas for the kind words.
Left in this next batch of orders I can fill is 2 sets of CS40 -CS45 and 2 sets of CS9's
If anyone is ready to order a set just let me know.
I will be taking a couple weeks break to get things done around the house after these 4 sets are sold.

Thanks to your excellent photography I have today ordered a set of bigdog's grips. Any hint on gringing down the pinky rest? Thanks again.

Looks great! I would love to have a CS45 like that. They even fit the High Noon holster I got for my 945-1 Compact.

Well, they are more functional that way, but there is no way to make them look like they came from the factory that way. I put each on a mag and in the gun and marked with masking tape the line of the grip leaving only what I wanted to remove exposed. Then I set up a stationary belt sander and went to work, checking the match to the lines of the grip often. If you mess them up, or ever want factory ones again, MidwayUSA has them in stock and they aren't too expensive.

Have a belt sander but was considering a Dremel drum and then finishing with 320 or finer grit sandpaper. Thanks for the advise.

Dremmel should work fine as long as it is a variable speed and you keep it slow enough to prevent melting. Good luck.

I do not find .45 to be a hard to control round, even in sub compacts. It is more of a push than a snap like .357 in a j-frame. I use 230gr FMJ for practice and 230gr Hydra Shok for carry.
