Do all Model 52s (mine is a 52-2) have inscribed on the chamber ".38 Special Mid-Range"?

Peter, most barrels have the ammo thet require stamped on them.

Model 52's take .38 special mid range wadcutters.

Shooting .38 special semi-wadcutters or round nose if they would feed could damage your pistol.

Thanks. I've had the pistol for awhile and shot it quite a bit but guess I never really saw the stamping until yesterday.
