Default S&W Stocking Dealer Specials

Thanks to member S&W247 who recently sold me his excellent condition SD40, I was able to "complete the set" of Performance Center SD Pistols.

Here's the latest addition, the 40 -

Here's all three - SD40, SD356TSW and SD9 -

And lastly, an image of the Product Sheet from 1994 -

Great pic of some hard to find pistols. I have heard of these guns but never saw any pix before. Thanks!

Is it my computer looking at the top photo, or does the W on the SD40 S&W look like a different font?

The W does look a little different in the photo; it must be the angle - it looks the same as the rest of the characters when viewed square-on.

I've shot the 9 and 356TSW; I haven't shot the 40 yet. I don't know if I will shoot that one.

Very nice and rare finds. You must have incredible luck to find all of those.

I may be showing my ignorance, but what is .356 TSW?
I have never heard of that caliber.

It's the .356 "Team Smith & Wesson" cartridge - basically a long 9mm, 9x21.5mm to be exact.

It was developed by S&W for their shooting team in the late 80's/early 90's, and provides sufficient energy to make "major" in IPSC style shooting while still allowing the maximum magazine capacity.

Glad she found a good family Bob! Hated to see her go but other projects needed financing.

Nice. I've looked for one of those SD9s for years. Never, ever, saw one for sale.
