You picked one of the best entry level pistols on the market for the money. Be patient with your accuracy before 400-500 rds fired, search for info about the Sigmas on this forum, and enjoy. zorro49

Oops forgot to post specs. Its a sigma sw9ve. Can't wait to get to the range with it next weekend and put some rounds through it. Does anyone have any opinions on what kind of ammo this thing likes to eat, or will it eat pretty much anything like me.

It'll eat virtually anything. Welcome to the family and shoot often...then shoot some more.

Great beginning S&W. My 40VE is my bed side gun with a light on it.

Enjoy it and go buy 3 or more extra mags from CDNN Investments. Used mags are about $20.
