Have some questions regarding the SW1911 9mm pistol:
1.I've read that you can't remove the extractor from yout SW1911 without some special tools, you have to send your pistol back to the factory if it breaks. You can't use a simple metal pin and a hammer to take the extractor pin out?
Is it really true? You can't purchase a spare extractor from Smith & Wesson nor any other spare parts???
2. What about its durability (SW1911 9mm)? Has anyone fired 10Ks of rounds through it? Any broken parts???
3. Does it also have a stainless steel barrel? What about its bigger brother in .45?
4. Regarding the other parts, like the magazine release button, safeties, slide stop are they protected with some kind of brunition finish or they are classically blued or they are also made of stainless steel?
Thanks
