canadian sized!...please.
paying for my 4.2" sp 101 today put 100 down last week and counted the days til payday.should be able to take it home by next weekend.
my 4.2" 629 should be in before the end of the month.long wait.
smith& wesson- if you are reading this, know that i would have bought a s&w instead of the ruger if you would make 4.2" barrels regularly available in canada.

nothing silly about b.s. gun laws that prohibit the ownership of 4" and under revolvers.

I understand you have to have a limit somewhere. But...why 4.2"?
Why didn't they just say anything under 4"?
Then again with Canadian politicians nothing makes sense.

why does there have to be a limit at all ?
i see it as a limitation on my freedom .just another step toward an eventual total disarmament (of private citizens).
but now the law stands as it does......so thats why i want s&w to make available 4.2" versions

I seem to remember the Canadian parliament and press just about soiling themselves when King Hussein of Jordan waved goodbye from the top of the airstairs after a state visit and inadvertently exposed the snubnosed revolver and its holster on his belt under his coat. It was like, "How dare that man (who survived multiple assassination attempts) insult our country by violating our laws?!?" Seems King Hussein understood that we are individually responsible for our own safety when it comes right down to it.

please dont think our government represents the people, and the press has its own agenda, not to be trusted.dont believe all canadians are like that any more than i believe all americans are rude and self centered...its just that the noisy ones get noticed.
id carry if i thought i needed to anyway...as a good friend says; id rather be judged by twelve than carried by six

the 4.2 " sp 101 just flat out works! much more accurate than i expected. i flinched on my first shot, expecting massive recoil from the 158 gr federal american eagle 357 rounds ,but it just wasnt there!. the recoil was very manageable and i could deliver rounds on mutiple targets quickly because of the negligable muzzle flip. i plan to order a 22lr version of the same gun, as my wife thouroughly enjoys it as well.
still no sign of the 4.2 " 629, come on smith wesson , you can do it!
and then ill want a 4.2" m27...please.
