I'm thinking of re-chambering an old Remington Rolling Block from 32RF to 327 Fed. Mag. ever hear of anybody doing that, or advising against it ?

I had a marlin 1894 cowboy in 32 MAG converted to .327 mag. It just required rechambering and feeds and shoots fine. The problem is the Marlin is costing $800 (if you can find it) plus the cost of conversion, I also had a better sight added .
Target set up at 50 yards, I am sure it will group better.

Cool Marlin! I'm a marlin kinda guy! I wish Marlin would come out with an 1894 in .45ACP. 18 to 20 rounds of Hydra-shok, Now thats an urban defense carbine! They probably have concerns about round nose hardball and primers. Bill

DON'T DO IT!!!!!! While the rolling block is a strong action, those rimfire RBs are not strong enough for the pressures that the .327 is generating.

I would like to see the IMI Timberwolf come back to us in 327 Fed, 357 mag, 41 mag and 44 mag. If it couldn't happen with IMI maybe Remington could make it happen.
