Default S&W 4" model 624 .44Special!

Please bring back the 4" 624! I have a 4" 629 and I love it, but most of my shooting is with a 250gr. SWC at about 1100fps. A 624 would be a lot lighter for this old duffer to pack around in the hills! Are you paying attention Smith&Wesson?

Guess I'll just have to hang onto the old one a bit longer!

S&W has done the first models to go around, let’s do a change up, break the norm, fly where most big bore revolvers never go.

Let’s do a 44 caliber convertible in 44 magnum and 44 special. Interchangeable cylinders. The 44 mag cylinder will never have ring around the collar no tide detergent necessary. Lol

They can do a follow up with the 38 special/357 magnum, 41 special/41 magnum, and the 45 amp/45 long colt. In nickel?

This Tupperware craze won’t last much longer.

624? had one in 6 inch. One of the few guns I regret selling.

My Mom has an early 629 Mt. Gun with 6 rounds through it.

I guess I could shoot it if I felt a need for a 624 rewind?

I'd also like to see them bring back the 696 .44 Special.

It would go really nice with this :

I have 2 624's, a 6.5" and 4". I'm a big fan of the .44 Spl.

I like what you suggest about the 41 Spcl and the Ring around the collar. BUT I enjoy a 215 LSWC with 7g 231 or 6g Red Dot in 41 mag cases just fine. Who would shoot factory ammo any?

I like my 24's & 624's. 250 gr cast SWC pushed by 7.5 grs of Unique is all they get fed. Have shown these before.
