Pistol caliber rifle
I really wish S&W would make a semi auto or lever action brush rifle offered in several popular pistol calibers. I believe that the engineers at S&W could have a field day with this challenge. They could go old school or my preference would to be something completely new and ground breaking.

A 44mag lever action rifle to go with a 44mag pistol??
Old school to me is to offer a 50/95 or 50/120 in a lever action for smokeless powder. I would love to have a few of these old bear rifles.

Marlin still makes the 44mag and 357 1894 lever actions, mine have been very acurate over the years. Henry repeating arms also I think.
I contacted Ruger to produced the Deer Slayer in 10mm, like the 44mag semi auto they did make.
S&W...I doubt would venture into these...but good luck!

Two weeks ago I was in the back room of a gun shop that I frequent, talking to the owner and noticed 4 Marlin lever action rifles on a wall rack. One in .30-.30, 2 in .44 Mag., and one in .41 mag. I had just been talking about pistol caliber rifles out in the front of the shop.

They already have blueprints for the 76, a semi auto carbine version would be easy for them and affordable for us.

Karh put out a fun rifle that is still in high demand today. It was a S 'something' 2000 that shot ONLY pistol ammo. and also some models used GLOCK magazine and others models used still other company magazines. The 9MM and 40 auto with Glock mags are very hard to find. The stock was way too short making sighting hard but the gun is still wanted for the fun of it.

I'd like to see a lever-action carbine in .460 S&W, but I'm not sure my beat-up shoulder would enjoy it. Kinda wish S&W had bought out Marlin, as the Remington boys are said to be having some quality control problems.

i have a winchester 92 in 357 mag ,like it a lot. fast and accurate(cas). i would get an uberti 73 if i had to do it over, as there are short stroke and slick-up kits available for 73s then they are as fast as an auto loader in the hands of an expert

Ive been waiting for a Carbine to use all my glock mags in. I know Mech Tech makes one and I think Keltec makes one but they are either hard to find or expensive. I would like to see Smith make one for their M&P series in 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP or 10MM. I just shot my friends Beretta CX4 in 40S&W and it was a blast. Expensive..

I would love to see S&W offer a version of the Ruger Police Carbine or Marlin Camp Carbine that would share mags with the M&P series. Add to that I'm still a dreamer about a M&P in 10mm and a M&P carbine in 10mm to go with it would be drool inducing on my part.

yep!
How 'bout a semi-auto that doesn't throw the brass away?
A round magazine ala Ruger or Thompson that the gun puts the empties back into?
I love 44 carbines and have more than 1. I think the 1892 action is one
of the best as it was designed for pistol rounds in the first place.

I don't know , I'm thinking something along the lines of a nice, light, short bolt action rifle , ( something along the likes of the Ruger 77/44 ) but chambered in the .460 or the .500 would be rather handy

Big Horn Armory makes a VERY NICE rifle in 500 S&W.
The linked Gun Blast review and video claim the recoil isn't bad at all.
It's on my 'if I win the lottery' list.

Count me as another vote for the 500 S&W. Sure like to have a short, handy (probably not too light as that round has some kick) shoulder arm; auto, pump or lever, in that caliber.

Got a stripped lower before the price spike, and am thinking about a 9mm barrel to build on. Might be cool, but need to let the dust settle in the current frenzy.
Never seen so many people running around at mach2 with their hair on fire! The sky is falling, the sky is falling! sheesh.
It will get better.
